Why I Love WIS and why you should join us.

I think our company is unique, because we only hire people who are “true blue”.

That’s not something we can teach. It is not a quality you can acquire or a skill in which you can be trained.
Being a true blue is in your blood. It is part of your DNA. It is how you are. How you see the world. Your desire for greatness and how you go about achieving that.

If you have that drive then your past is the past and the future is whatever you make it at WIS. Because whether your determination is expressed through process refinement, improved results, innovative thinking or just doing your job and thoroughly enjoying it, there is a place for every WIS BLUE here…

Not every person survives here. You need a desire to be here and to adapt to the demands of inventory and how we do it.

When I joined the company, I was just 19yrs old. I had finished my time in education by completing an Art and Design course and I was looking for a job. I found WIS…

The first trip away was to Paris and it was one to remember! We were stocktaking for an Inditex business called Zara – beautiful clothing and beautiful shops too! I was hooked!

Today I am part of the wonderful team at WIS UK RECRUITMENT dealing with the process of recruitment and organising interviews for the company UK wide – from inventory counters to roles in head office.

I really do love it here. I get up looking forward to coming to work. You need that mindset too because, let me tell you, it’s very “Marmite” – you either love it or you hate it. I LOVE it!

We may not have it altogether, but together we have it all. You can always count on each other if you are a team.

And that is the great thing about WIS. With the right support and attitude the opportunities are here for the taking.

We can easily find people to teach inventory and counting to. But it’s the WIS BLUE attitude and desire that we have to search for!
